After 3 nights of trick or treating I was thankful Halloween season was over. Yes i said 3 nights. First on Thursday we trick or treated in the community that i grew up in. Friday night we went to a local open air mall. They had the local fire department there, a pony for petting and pictures, stilt walkers and trick or treating at all the stores. Stores such as Borders, Stride Rite, Yankee Candle and Kay's Jewelry. I was hoping for things like diamonds, sapphires, kids shoes and seasonally scented candles. But no such luck, we only got candy, with the occasional 20% off coupon. And Saturday night we stayed local. All 3 nights I had the
privilege of being pushed in a wheel chair.
When I asked Tyler before my surgery what he wanted to be for Halloween, he told me he wanted to be a farmer. That would be easy, we already had everything do make that costume, except for a pair of overalls. I looked high and low for a pair of Osh Kosh b'gosh. Couldn't find a pair anywhere! I checked thrift stores, asked friends and my sister. No one had a pair that i could even borrow. So onto Plan B. I browsed online and found a picture of a little boy sporting a cardboard tractor. At that moment I knew what i was going to do. I got a small box and fashioned it to resemble a certain green and yellow tractor.
This little boy and his tractor was the talk of every stop that we hit. He was absolutely giddy to have a tractor. And i have to admit he was pretty damn cute.

In addition to my lil' farmer, I also had a gymnastic Champion on my hands. Megan loves gymnastics and it was only natural for her to want to dress up as something that she aspires to be. She has expressed on many occassions that she wants to be in the olympics. This was only practice for the many gold medals she intends to win.
